It isn’t more money, but it’s money you would otherwise spend if you didn’t keep it aside. Plus you don’t really miss it!

This may be more of a UK thing-use the continental supermarkets i.e Netto, Aldi, Lidle etc the quality is just as excellent if not better (esp fruit and veg) and there so much cheaper, just remember to bring your own shoping bags as they charge for those!

for shampoo use baking soda + vinegar, makes your hair really soft and shiny, for a conditioner mix egg and honey, for a cleaner mix vinegar, t tree oil and baking soda.
Use egg whites for a facelift. Mix sugar, honey and orange juice for a scrub. for cooking lemon and garlic and vegie salt flavour just about any dish. Don’t buy trinkets, have clothes swaps with friends, go garage shopping, I got a 2 couches for $60 only 2 years ancient the seller was moving over seas.

A perfect way for more then a $300 save is lowering your insurance rate. You can find your insurance rate by location over here:

American’s are not accustomed to making ‘deals’. They will pay the price posted. I have made many excellent ‘deals’ when purchasing furniture just by asking the Manager fo lower the price if I paid in cash. It doesn’t hurt to give it a chance. The worse that can happen is that you pay the price you were going to pay in the beginning. Who cares what the manager thinks of you. YOU are the one going home with the product.
